VTech InnoTab 3 Unveiled |
VTech, the E-learning gadget manufacturer, unveiled its latest tablet for kids, the InnoTab 3. The InnoTab is a popular educational tablet for kids age 3-9 and the InnoTab 3 is an evolution of the previous model. The basic design is the same, it has received at update and some new features. It will use the same software cartridges. The screen size has shrunk from the InnoTab 2 it's replacing, down from 5 to 4.3 inches.
It is portable, affordable, compact and lightweight. The tablet aims to combine educational games, creative activities and reading skills in a child-friendly, multi-function, touch-screen tablet.
The InnoTab 3 features a 4.3-inch touch screen, directional pad, tilt sensor, and a 2-megapixel, 180-degree rotating camera so that it can shoot stills or video in both directions with over 55 photo features and special effects. The tablet also has a built-in microphone, headphone jack, and four different media players: an e-book reader, MP3 music player, photo viewer, and video player.
The gadget comes with 2GB of onboard memory that can expand to 32GB via micro SD, as well as a pop-up onscreen keyboard and stylus with a storage slot.

There are 15 apps pre-loaded on the InnoTab 3, including educational games, eBooks, music and videos. The Learning Lodge content library, which consists of 350 more downloads, and will increase to 600 by the end of the year, means parents can add more apps via a computer. They can also use the Learning Lodge software to track their child's progress.

The InnoTab 3 will be available soon and can be pre-ordered through VTech, Amazon, Target, Toys R Us and Walmart for $69.99.
