Sparkup Reader Record Books For Your Children |
Sometimes you might get bored while reading text books, in that case you need a break. But with Sparkup Reader you can record audio to your child's favorite books.
Tel Aviv-based Sparkup Reader has developed a visual recognition device that allows users to record their own voices reading any children’s book, and the program uses the installed camera to sync the words with the page. This allows emerging readers to explore the words and illustrations on each page without getting left behind.
Users simply attach the device to a book, and read it once into the microphone. This means younger readers can hear the recording at a later time by reattaching the reader and flipping through the pages of the book. The device has enough memory to store 250 minutes of audio, which is said to be good for about 50 children's books.
This could come in handy if family members live hundreds of miles away, parents are working late and missing bedtime, or, very occasionally, when they just want a break from reading the same book ten times in a row .
