ZTE launches 6 smartphones and 4 3G datacards in India


ZTE Corporation today has finally unveiled six new smartphone and four new data card devices for its Indian customers. The six Android smartphones are priced between Rs 5,000 and Rs 15,000 and will be introducing these in the market soon.

The company has launched the Grand X Quad Lite as its flagship and has priced it for Rs 14,999. In terms of features, the dual-SIM phone comes with a 5-inch qHD display offering 540X960 pixels resolution. It runs on the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, and comes with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM. It also has 4GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. It sports a 5-megapixel camera at the rear and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone supports video recording at 720p using the primary camera. On connectivity front, it offers support for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G, and GPS. It packs in a 2500mAh battery.

The ZTE Kis Flex is a dual-SIM smartphone priced at Rs 5,799. Features-wise, it comes with a 3.5-inch QVGA (320X480 pixel) touchscreen, runs on Android version 2.3 and is powered with a 1GHz processor with 256MB of RAM. Other features in the phone include 512MB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card, a 2-megapixel fixed focus camera and 1200mAh battery. The phone supports 3G on one SIM and offers Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity as well.

The ZTE Blade G2 has a 4.5-inch display with 480X854 pixels resolution. The software side is backed by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and the hardware is powered by a 1GHz quad-core processor with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. The phone sports a 5-megapixel autofocus camera with 720p video recording and 0.3-megapixel fixed focus front camera. It is priced at Rs 11,599.

The ZTE Blade C comes with 4-inch WVGA touchscreen offering 480X800 pixel resolution. It offers Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and has a 1GHz processor with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. It sports a 3-megapixel fixed focus camera at the rear and can shoot videos at 720p. This apart, it comes with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity support as well. The phone costs Rs 7,599. Other features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, and a 2000mAh battery.

The ZTE Blade L, priced for Rs 12,599, comes with a 4.7-inch WVGA display with 480X800 pixels resolution. It runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and has a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 512MB RAM. Other features include a 4GB of internal memory, 32GB of external memory using microSD, a 5-megapixel auto-focus primary camera with flash and a 0.3-megapixel fixed-focus front camera. On the connectivity front, it offers support for 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.

The ZTE Blade E priced for Rs 11,999, runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor. It features a 4.5-inch IPS FWVGA display with 480X854 pixels resolution. The smartphone comes with 512MB of RAM , 4GB of internal storage with up to 32GB of external memory support. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 720p video recording, and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Other features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity.

Besides this, ZTE has also launched four 3G datacards under the Swift series. The cards come in four variants – Swift (7.2Mbps with Voice Call) priced for Rs 1,799, Swift Plus (14.4Mbps) priced for Rs 1,999, Swift WPlus (14.4Mbps with Wi-Fi) priced for Rs 2,250 and Swift Speed (21.6Mbps with Voice Call) priced for Rs 2,499.
