ZTE Corp has launched its new smartphone, the Grand X Quad Lite which has been priced at Rs. 14,999.
It features a 5-inch qHD display with a resolution of 540×960 pixels and has a pixel density of 220 PPI. It supports dual-SIM functionality with one SIM supporting 3G and the other one, 2G. The ZTE Grand X runs the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
The smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 1 GB of RAM. While it includes 4GB of internal storage, the storage capacity can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. There is a 5.0-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front camera on the phone.
It’s Connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G and Wi-Fi tethering. The device is backed by a 2,500mAh battery.
Xu Dejun, CEO of ZTE India, said, “We are optimistic on our marketing and channel spends and looking at strengthening the brand from all fronts. Our distribution and sales structure is backed by a strong network of 214 service centres across the country and By year-end, ZTE aims to have our pan-India presence with the smartphones and data cards.”
The ZTE Grand X Quad Lite smartphone will not hit the stores immediately but will be available in the coming days.
