Datawind, the maker of the Aakash Tablet PC, has announced a partnership with CricHQ, global cricket technology company. Based on this partnership, Datawind will now pre-install the CricHQ application on all of its tablet devices.

CricHQ is a global cricket technology platform that provides powerful cricket scoring software and a cricket competition management system. It will help training videos and live ball-by-ball updates from cricket around the world.

Datawind says "The aim is to bridge the digital gap between professional and cricketers at the grassroots, across rural and urban India, by providing them with cricket technology usually reserved for the game’s elite".
