Screenshot claims, Asus To manufacture Next Nexus 10

Last year Google added two new types of Nexus devices to the lineup, a 7-inch tablet and a 10-inch tablet. The first Nexus 10 was manufactured by Samsung, and offered an impressive display at an incredibly reasonable price. Much like the Nexus 7 refresh, the next iteration of the Nexus 10 will bear the same name as its predecessor, only this year it will be manufactured by Asus.

Following a report from this week, the same website has acquired an inventory picture allegedly proving the next Nexus 10 will in fact be made by Asus.

The Original Nexus 10

As the company responsible for both the original Nexus 7 and this year’s refresh, it’s clear that Asus and Google have a good relationship right now. Asus has consistently proved it’s one of the best hardware manufacturers around, so we have no doubt the next Nexus 10 will be a winner; the original one was already solid enough.

The screenshot shows little additional information on the device, says that it will be available in a 16GB model with Wi-Fi. It would, presumably, feature upgrades in memory, processor, and possibly screen resolution over its predecessor. The first Nexus 10 featured one of the higher screen resolutions available in tablet form at the time of its release. Other information, like release, price and specs aren’t revealed. The tablet should be out in time for Christmas, too.
