Nokia Pro Camera App Now Available For Lumia 920, 925 and 928

The Nokia Pro Camera app, which provides a superior user interface and experience to the standard Windows Phone Camera app, is now available for Lumia 920, 925 and 928 handsets through the Amber update that the company is also pushing out today. The camera UI was introduced with the Lumia 1020 last month to popular reviews and is now available for Windows Phone 8 users who don’t feel like shelling out $300 for the latest flagship device.

1. Slide to zoom: One finger operation, so you can even zoom if you’re holding your PureView Lumia with
                          one hand
2. Improved focus handling: Touch the screen to focus on an area and manual focus makes it easier to shoot
                                            close ups and achieve the beautiful ‘Bokeh’ effect or background blur
3. Video recording: Lossless 1.8x zoom and stereo recording
4. Reframing: Using two-fingers you can rotate the image and there’s also the ability to change the aspect
                     ratio.

Pro Camera is more than just an app; it’s a completely re-imagined user interface that lets you take full control of the imaging process and helps to unlock all your creative potential.

It doesn't contain all the features that the Lumia 1020 version does, as some are dependent on the 41-megapixel sensor, but it does make for a very nice camera app - so many times better than the standard Windows Phone 8 camera app. The un-zoom feature to view wider picture even after you’ve zoomed in to take your photo, is also not available.

Since the Lumia 925 already comes with Amber update, users can download the Nokia Pro Cam app from the Nokia Collections in the Windows Phone Store. For the Lumia 920 and the 928, the Nokia Pro cam features would be available in the Amber update which is currently rolling out.
