Microsoft has priced it at Rs 4,199 for a 4-year subscription and is available for students studying in accredited colleges and universities in the country.
"The special pricing for students will help provide them with opportunities and empower them to develop the necessary skills to be successful in the fast-paced campus environment," Microsoft India GM (Microsoft Office Division) R Pichai said.

Speaking of the Office 365 University launch, Ramkumar Pichai, GM, Microsoft Office Division, Microsoft India, said: "University students will love the capabilities of new Office. Office 365 University will be a trusted and integral part of students' everyday always-on, always-connected life, taking full advantage of the cloud and touch capabilities, all at the best price."
To purchase the product, students need to go to the Office website to verify their eligibility for the suite. During the verification process, students will need to fill out their university credentials, or international student identity card (ISIC) details. Alternatively, they can submit documentation through the manual verification process. The verification process is completed online; after which students can purchase Office 365 University from the online Microsoft store.
